The Result Safeguard R476X Hi-Vis Ripstop Softshell is a tough, printable, soft-stretch high-visibility safety jacket with a microfleece lining. It has enhanced water repellency, is breathable and windproof, and carries soft-feel printed reflective bands, black Oxford shoulder panels that mask grime and a ripstop polyester outer. Class 2 hi-vis, in Orange/Black or Yellow/Black, sizes S to 4XL.

A 310gsm three-layer bonded softshell with a ripstop polyester outer, a microfleece inner and 100% polyester Oxford shoulder panels. It has a YKK zip, a stand-up collar, zipped pockets, a chin guard, open cuffs and soft-feel reflective printed safety body bands. It is UKCA marked, tag-free and ready to brand.

Certification

EN ISO 20471:2013+A1:2016 Class 2; the orange version is also RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2:2019 Class 2. Keep it clean to remain effective, and choose PPE against your risk assessment and site rules.

Care: Maximum 25 Washes

Result's care instructions are a 40°C gentle wash, maximum 25 washes. Do not bleach, tumble dry, iron or dry clean.

How many times can it be washed?
Result's care instructions give a maximum of 25 washes at 40°C on a gentle cycle. Do not iron it.

Is it waterproof?
The manufacturer describes enhanced water repellency, breathability and windproofing, not a waterproof rating. For a waterproof option see the R475X Softshell Safety Coat (EN 343 3:1).

Is the orange version suitable for rail work?
It carries RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2:2019 Class 2. Check your project requirements.
